COVID-19 PROTOCOL

All of us at Peacocks Bar & Lounge would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the support we have received from friends and regulars over the last few months. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our frontline staff in their efforts to keep us safe. We are very excited to announce that we are once again able to open our doors from Monday the 29th of June.

Due to Covid-19 we have all had to change the way we live and it has been a deeply worrying time for everyone. The health and safety of our customers and staff is our main priority and we want to make each visit a welcoming and comfortable visit. We look forward to providing a friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy the fine food and drink that you are accustomed to. We will be adhering to or exceeding all recommendations for safety, social distancing and sanitisation from government and health experts.

Below you will find an outline of what to expect when you visit Peacocks Bar & Lounge.

 

General Measures

​

All operating procedures throughout Peacocks have been reviewed and altered to provide peace of mind to our customers and staff.

• To ensure social distancing we have implemented a flow management system which is easily followed with the aid of floor markings and signage.

• Sanitising stations are located at all the main entry and exit points.

• Pre-booking process to ensure that all customers can be seated upon arrival.

• Infrared temperature checks of all staff on arrival to work along with completion of our Return to Work health forms and Covid-19 induction course.

• Appropriate PPE to be worn by all employees depending on their role.

• Covid-19 Compliance officer on duty at all times.

• Electrostatic disinfection carried out on premises by AFM facilities management group.

 

 

 

Lounge & Bar

 

• The sanitisation of all front of house and service touch points before opening and then again at regular half hour intervals throughout the day.

• Toilets checked every 15 minutes and cleaned every 30 minutes.

• Our lounge and bar areas will operate at reduced seating capacity to ensure social distancing.

• We are providing table service only.

• We will be using individually packaged condiments such as sauce, salt, pepper etc.

• Single use and QR code menus will be in place.

• In line with government guidelines, all bookings are for a period of 1hr 45 mins.

• One guest per party to provide contact tracing details.
